President’s Choice PC Cold Brew Nitro Black Coffee Has Arrived

President’s Choice expands its lineup of ready-to-drink coffee with the introduction of new PC Cold Brew Nitro Black Coffee.

PC Cold Brew Nitro Black Coffee is a dark roast cold brew that is infused with nitrogen to create a creamy texture and cascading effect with a top layer of crema. Simply shake the can then pop open to release the nitrogen.

The new beverage is available in 320ml cans to enjoy while on the go, or you can enjoy poured over ice in a glass at home.

You can find PC Cold Brew Nitro Black Coffee in the cold juice section in Loblaws and associated stores across Canada.

Uber Eats Is Delivering Cineplex Popcorn In Canada

Cineplex announced Thursday that is has expanded its partnership with Uber Eats to bring its popular popcorn and other food items to the doorsteps of Canadians across the country.

Starting today, popcorn, candy, soft drinks, hot dogs and nachos are available for delivery through 60 Cineplex theatres in communities across British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec.

In addition to individual items, consumers can also choose from a variety of combo items, including the ‘Cineplex Movie Night In Combo.’ The Uber Eats exclusive features a free Cineplex Store HD movie rental, as well as two medium popcorns, two medium candies and two medium drinks for $28.99.

To celebrate the expanded partnership, Cineplex is offering consumers in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario a free Cineplex Store HD movie rental with all Uber Eats orders from June 29 through July 2, 2018.

Skittles Unveils New Red & White Mix In Celebration Of Canada Day

Skittles is celebrating Canada’s 151st birthday with the release of new Skittles Red & White Mix.

Limited-edition Skittles Red & White Mix features a special summer mix of flavours that includes white grape, watermelon, peach, strawberry and cherry.

Available at retailers nationwide while supplies last, the new candies carry a suggested price of $3.59 for a 191g bag.

Additionally, on July 1, 2018 Skittles will pay tribute one of Canada’s most iconic national symbol: The Beaver.

Second Cup offers its own unique twist on a classic Canadian treat with the release of the new Nanaimo Bar FroCho.

The Nanaimo Bar FroCho features the flavours of rich chocolate, toasted coconut and a hint of creamy custard. The drink is finished with a topping of whipped cream, chocolate drizzle and toasted coconut.

You can find the Nanaimo Bar FroCho at participating Second Cup locations across Canada for a limited time while supplies last.

The Nanaimo Bar is an iconic Canadian dessert which requires no baking. It consists of three layers: a wafer and coconut crumb-base, custard flavoured butter icing, and a layer of chocolate ganache on top. Several variations on the original recipe also exist, but they’re all generally referred to as Nanaimo Bars.

Burger King Canada Brings Back Angry King Sandwich

Burger King Canada is one again serving the limited-time Angry King Sandwich at participating locations.

Angry King Sandwich features a two quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patties, topped with thick-cut smoked bacon, melted cheese, angry onions, jalapenos, angry sauce and mayo, all sandwiched between a soft sesame seed bun.

The Angry King can be found at participating Burger King locations across Canada for a limited time.

Additionally, and for a limited time only, Burger King is offering vanilla soft serve cones for $1 each at participating locations.  (Available as a cone or in a cup)

A&W Canada Unveils New Plant-Based Beyond Burger

A&W Canada will be the first major fast food chain in the country to add the plant-based Beyond Burger to its menu at all its restaurants across Canada beginning July 9, 2018.

The Beyond Meat Burger features a plant-based Beyond Burger patty, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and mayo on a lightly toasted sesame seed bun.

Made with protein-rich pulse crops, like peas, and mung beans, the Beyond Burger holds the distinction of being the first-ever plant-based burger to satisfy like a traditional beef burger without the use of beef.

Tim Hortons To Modernize Distribution System And Open New Warehouses

Tim Hortons on Wednesday announced plans to spend $100 million revamping its distribution network as part of a multi-year plan to support franchisees and improve the in-restaurant consumer experience.

The company says the plan will include new warehouses in Alberta and British Columbia as well expanding at its existing warehouse in Debert, N.S.

Once completed, the new warehouse in British Columbia will service all of the province, while the new warehouse in Alberta will handle deliveries in Alberta and Saskatchewan. The upgraded warehouse in Debert, N.S. will continue to act as the hub for restaurants in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. The company says Tim Hortons restaurants in Manitoba, Newfoundland and Labrador, and parts of Quebec will continue to be served by its third-party distribution partners.

Tim Hortons expects to create 150 new jobs once completed.

Starbucks Canada Adds New Mango Dragonfruit Refreshers

Starbucks Canada gives its beverage menu an exotic flavour shakeup with the addition of new Mango Dragonfruit Refreshers.

Mango Dragonfruit Starbucks Refreshers feature a combination of mango and pieces of real red-fleshed dragon fruit, also known as pitaya, hand-shaken with ice in the beverage with no artificial colours or sweeteners.

The chain is also offering a creamy version called the Dragon Drink. It features a Mango Dragonfruit Refresher with coconut milk instead of water. You can get the Dragon Drink at your local Starbucks by ordering a Mango Dragonfruit Refresher and requesting coconutmilk instead of water.

Mango Dragonfruit Starbucks Refreshers can be found on the permanent beverage menu at participating Starbucks locations across Canada.
